The Cloudbreak mug is glazed in layers of moody blue, grey and earthy tones, with the glaze pooling and breaking across the surface to create a soft, atmospheric landscape. The darker lower half gives it a lovely grounded feel, while the blue-grey glaze above has all the drama of a mountain range emerging through the mist.

And because glaze has a mind of its own, every one turns out slightly differently.

Handmade from stoneware clay in South Africa, this is an everyday mug with just enough character to make your coffee feel like an occasion.

This mug is handmade in small batches, so variations in colour, glaze, shape and finish are completely normal. The glaze may break, pool or move differently from the piece pictured, which is part of what makes handmade ceramics so lovely.

Orders take 3–5 working days to process before shipping. Tday is a one-woman show, so I'm currently doing the making, glazing, firing, packing and approximately 47 other jobs in between. 😅
